Living in Two Worlds. A Japanese drama film. Directed by Mipo O. Starring Ryo Yoshizawa and Akiko Oshidari.
The film is based on a true story, about the love and
bond between a son and his mother and filled with affection for the mother by
the son.
It seemed to make a CODA boy talk about a typical story of
a boy who goes bad depending his parents and gradually comes to appreciate them,
however, I was deeply impressed toward the ending by the beautiful mind of
Akiko, his deaf mother, that was highlighted by how uncool the protagonist,
played by the handsome Ryo Yoshizawa, was. The smile of Akiko Oshidari playing the
mother was also pretty.
